# Invite to Proposal

After a successful evaluation, an applicant's concept note is invited to complete a proposal :tada:\

Here is a step-by-step guide for inviting a concept note to proposal:\

1\) Go to Update status OR as a Determination

2a) When using Update Status, you will have the option to select **Invite to Proposal** in the dropdown menu<br>

2b) As a determination, you will need to first select Approved from the 'determination' dropdown menu. Once you have selected 'Approved', different proposal forms will appear in the 'Proposal Form' dropdown menu. &#x20;

### <mark style="color:red;">Select a Proposal Category</mark>

3\) Regardless of whether you choose to update the status or create a determination, you will have several proposals to select from. Some of the options are Technology, Research, and Digital Security among others.&#x20;

4\) Select the proposal theme that aligns with the concept note and send it with your determination.

5\) OTF has a specific determination template for invite to proposals. Please refer to this template for guidance.
