# Advisory Council Review (External Review)

As the proposal lead, you could change or reassign Advisory Council Reviewers of a submission.

{% hint style="info" %}
An individual needs to have a user account on the platform, and be designated as the 'Reviewer' role for this account to appear on the 'Reviewer' drop down menu.
{% endhint %}

There are several different methods to assign a 'Reviewer' or someone from the Advisory Council to a proposal:

Method #1 - You can change the lead directly on the Round, Lab, or Fellowship application within Wagtail admin. Once these individuals have been selected, they will be *automatically* assigned to a proposal during the Advisory Council Review (External Review) workflow status. This means they will *automatically* have access to the proposal.

Method #2 - This could be changed for a single submission or multiple submissions as a batch action. Select a submission or multiple submissions via rounds (not all submissions). The option to change the Status, assign the Lead, or assign Reviewers should appear:

Method #3 You can change the lead directly on the submission by clicking on the lead button
